After graduating from Ohio University in 2018 with a few content internships under her belt, Rachel threw all career advice aside and moved to Japan to teach English at a junior high school. She spent 15 months making creative powerpoints about grammar, navigating solo trips around Asia and attempting to make vegetarian dishes (she did some writing about it all, too). When the time came to say sayonara to Japan, she found her way back to her hometown of Cincinnati and took on freelance content and strategy projects before starting as a copywriter at Ample.
