Serving up a unique site for the Sandbar — Cincinnati’s volleyball oasis

With seven volleyball courts, deck and cabana bar, The Sandbar is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re in Cincinnati. Their site needed to give that same easy going feeling. It needed to be easy to update. And it needed to spread its influence farther and wider.

The new Ample-designed look, focuses on everything the Sandbar has that makes it unique. It also pulled in a vast array of social networking sites and services, assuring that content will always stay current, and to allow for that same content to exist in a variety of places.

Events are updated in Upcoming, and are pulled right onto the home page. The Twitter feed also lives on the home page, offering drink specials and showing the dialogue between Sandbar and friends. Scribd offers a quick, easy-to-update image of the menu. The Facebook Fanbox offers a glimpse off its fans, while Flickr houses all the images and albums. And Google Maps tells you how to get there.

Check it out. See what they have going on. And stop by when you feel like taking a break from the typical bar scene.
